The short version
When you register your interest, we collect your name and email address (and, if you tell us, how you heard about us) so we can email you about The Intersection's launch and events. We never sell your details, and we never share them with anyone outside The Intersection. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
What we collect
Through the registration form on this site, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- How you heard about us, if you choose to tell us – this is optional
- Your consent to being contacted, which you confirm by ticking the box on the form
We don't use cookies or tracking scripts on this site beyond loading our fonts from Google Fonts, which doesn't set any tracking cookies for you.
Why we collect it
We use your name and email solely to email you about The Intersection – launch updates, event details, and how to get involved. We only email you because you've asked us to, by ticking the consent box when you registered.
Where it's stored
Your details are stored in Airtable, a data-management platform we use to manage our registration list. Airtable is bound by its own data protection obligations as our data processor. We don't store your details anywhere else.
Who can see it
Only Elizabeth Anyaegbuna and Claire Ferreira, and anyone else directly involved in running The Intersection, have access to the registration list. We never sell, rent, or share your details with any third party for marketing or any other purpose.
How long we keep it
We'll keep your details for as long as The Intersection is active and you remain on our list. If you ask us to remove you, or unsubscribe from an email, we'll delete your details within a reasonable time.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what details we hold about you
- correct anything that's wrong
- delete your details entirely
- stop emailing you
To do any of this, just email us – there's no form to fill in, no hoops to jump through.
